On August 10, 2001 at Alton Barnes, England, a crop circle formation appeared overnight in a farmer's field. This rose reflects that formation's pattern of concentric circles met by four crossed vesica piscus forms. I am moved that a benign more-than-human intelligence, each year and in increasing numbers, creates these beautiful forms. Are they trying to communicate with us?

Rising in the night sky is a crop-circle formation of concentric circles met by four crossed vesica piscus forms. The original appeared overnight in a farmer's field on August 10, 2001 at Alton Barnes, England. The sky is studded with tiny constellations of crop-circles. These beautiful forms are appearing all over the planet, in increasing numbers each year, apparently created by a benign more-than-human intelligence. Why?
A primordial pattern from Oceania radiates over the planet as a surprisingly modern linear grid.

One balmy October day we look up from our meadow in the Sierra Nevada foothills to see, amidst hazy clouds, a circle surrounding the sun with brilliant "sun dogs" on either side. But wait! Visible in the cloud strands is another circle, passing through the sun and exactly parallel to the horizon. Awed and grateful, we say with wonder, "We live here?"
The earth is alive – supporting and containing all of life as we know it. As Alice Walker writes: "We have a beautiful mother / Her green lap immense / Her brown embrace eternal / Her blue body everything we know."
